The service
Snapback captures versioned snapshots of your Shopify store's catalog content (products, collections, pages, inventory quantities), shows a timeline of changes with best-effort attribution, and restores selected versions via Shopify's Admin API.
Honest limits
Restores write back the fields Shopify's API allows. Deleted items are recreated as new records — Shopify cannot resurrect the original ID or its sales history. Orders and customer records are outside Snapback's scope entirely and are never captured or restorable. Attribution reflects what Shopify's Events API reports; unattributed changes are labeled as such rather than guessed.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's billing system on your Shopify invoice. Trials convert automatically unless cancelled; you can cancel any time from the Plan page, effective immediately.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to access another store's data, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to violate Shopify's terms.
Warranty & liability
The service is provided "as is". We work hard to make captures and restores reliable, but we can't guarantee Shopify API availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 3 months.
